Another Wednesday night….another exciting Bachelor Episode!

We open with all the girls sitting around in their PJs, clearly they have filmed this straight after the rose ceremony. Most of the girls are still wearing the same makeup from that night.

Lets hope they take off all that makeup before going to bed! You never want to sleep in your makeup because it clogs up your pores. At night your skin detoxifies and if you still have makeup on your skin can’t breathe.  It can hard sometimes after a busy day or a few champagnes, but at the very least using a makeup wipe. I suggest using Benecos Happy Facial Cleansing Wipes. These don’t have any alcohol in and are great for sensitive skin.

Totally what I look like when I am going to bed!

Our lucky lady for the single date tonight is Florence. She is the beautiful Dutch model.  Actually she wasn’t that lucky, her date was getting to jump off a building. Fun.  At least she got to hold hands tight with Matty to get through the experience. Channel 10 playfully called it Falling for Florence.  Good alliteration guys!  She will never forget this memory, especially because they made a clay mould of their hands holding.  Little bit weird.  Then they finished of the date by just sitting on a sofa and chatting.  And of course, she got a kiss!

Her makeup for the date was a little more adventurous than a lot of the single date makeup’s we have seen. But that fitted with the theme of the date nicely. She went for a strong smokey-eye, full dark eyebrows and very nude lip. This is very on trend right now, and also great for kissing because it doesn’t ruin your makeup. Clever Girl!  Also impressive that none of her makeup moved in the stressful situation of jumping off a building!

Strong makeup = Adventurous, literary what Matty said he wants!

Next – no group date!  Instead the dreaded double date – two go in, and only one comes out! So dramatic! Hmmm… I wonder who Channel 10 will pick to go head to head. Maybe the two girls who have been fighting since day one.  Yep, original.

So Jen and Liz are our two challengers.  And it’s super awkward. Instead of actually doing another activity on this date the three of them sit around this tiny table in the dark. You can hardly see their makeup it’s so dark! And they are both wearing summer playsuits which are definitely day attire not evening wear. Everything about this date doesn’t add up.

Then Matty takes Jen for a one on one talk. My goodness, she is a good little actress saying exactly what Matty wants to hear. Now we can actually see her face in the light, her makeup is rather simple, which is surprising for Jen. But then again she is playing the sweet girl card right now. She has gone for a little bit of brown and goldeye shadow, slightly defined brows and a pink lip colour.

My makeup is sweet.

Therefore I am sweet!

Poor Liz. In her one on one time appears to get a bit flustered and struggled. Her makeup is very strong this evening.  She has a dramatic smokey-eye that really makes her eye look very wide and then strong brows and defined cheekbones and a pink lip.  It would have been better if she just chose one thing to highlight in her makeup instead of everything, it is all just a bit too much on her And the competition is also a bit too much on her and Matty sends her home.  But she says she stayed true to herself and didn’t pretend to be someone else. Good on you girl!

All too much 🙁

Jen comes home to a less than warm welcome by the other girls. At least it looks like they are all taking their makeup off ready for bed!

Then straight into a very dramatic cocktail party.  Sian (one of the girls) who has had the least camera time has clearly realized this and throws a melt-down.  Saying she can’t handle all the cameras and asking the camera guys to stop filming. Sorry hun, but you signed up to be on a reality TV show. That’s kind of the whole deal!

This is clearly the episode of dramatic eyes and nude lips. Because that exactly what Sian has on as well. It’s impressive that her makeup stays on with all the crying. Guessing they are using a really good setting powder to make the makeup last. She gets to have a chat with Matty and quickly goes from “I want to leave” to “I want to stay” – wow that guy is really charming!

Not happy.

I don’t want a camera in my face after I signed up for a reality TV show

Cut to the rose ceremony and everyone is unhappy. Lots of dramatic looks and rolling of eyes. And… Suddenly…. Matty…. Puts…. The…. Rose….Down! And we cut to “To Be Continued”

So this dramatic cliff-hanger better pay off in tomorrow night’s episode!

Matty is way too stressed

Since we don’t have anyone who went home yet, let’s pick out one of the best makeup looks from the girls at the rose ceremony. In the sea of smokey eyes and nude lips, Steph (who also hasn’t had a lot of camera time) has beautiful light almost purple and silver eye shadow on and a really gorgeous hot pink lipstick. These colours really work on her, with her blonde hair and steel blue eyes. To achieve this look, I would recommend using the eyeshadow pallet Beautiful Eyes and the lip colour Hot Pink both by Benecos.

Not a smokey eye and nude lip! #Winning

 Beautiful Eye Shadow palette
